Event Type

Come escape the mad bank holiday dash and join us for some lovely seaside climbing in Wales.

Climb style: Trad and Sport (belay from the beech!). All grades so perfect for seasoned pros to those getting stuck in for the first time

Accommodation:  We have a space reserved for SCC at Nicholaston Farm Campsite (www.nicholastonfarm.co.uk) which is just 5 minutes walk to the climbing. Facilities include toilets and showers (20p coin), wash areas, free use of fridges/freezers, laundry, farm shop, café and pick your own.

The campsite fees are
£15 per night for a 2 man tent (price includes 2 people)
£19 per nigh for a 3-4 man tent (price includes up to 4 people)
Electric hook up is extra

Transport: Car share. For a car it works out roughly £12 each for the return journey (Assuming 4 in a car, 50 mpg, £1.40 per litre, inc the Severn Bridge Toll). Cost will vary from car to car so this is upto the drivers. This does not include tips for the driver :).

Equipment:
Essential:
Sleeping bag, roll mat/thermarest/airbed
Tent + cooking equipment (Buddy up if you do not have these)
Harness, shoes, belay device
Waterproofs, good footwear, swimming stuff (we are by the sea!)
If you own the following please bring these too:
Trad rack
Quickdraws
Half ropes (for trad), single rope (Sport)
BBQ (if you want one!)

To book:
1) Contact the campsite directly (01792 371209) and say you are part of the SCC group. Please pay the campsite directly for the duration of your stay.

2) Login to the website and fill out the signup form (will appear below) so we have a record of who is going. This also helps us to coordinate gear and transport. If you are brining any non members please let us know in the comments section.
