Peaks take 2
Because one trip to the peaks isn’t enough…..
UPDATE:
we’ve booked the Byre at Thorpe farm, Hathersage (the same place we have stayed for the christmas meet and super close to the grit)
Available for bookings now 🙂
The Crag
We shall be right near Stanage, so suitable for all levels, whether you want to Boulder, top rope, trad or sport, it’s all there. It’s the peaks! So much to choose from!
Accommodation
We shall be staying in the Byre, Thorpe Farm, near Hathersage so very near Stanage. The Bunkhouse is big enough for 14, with sleeping split between 2 dorms (4,6) and 4 beds in the living area.
PLEASE NOTE: we are staying in the Byre this time, we have stayed here before in different bunkhouses (Christmas meet)

Environmental Considerations
Please as always, be considerate of the crag and surrounding area, if you get a chance taking a few bits of litter to the nearest bin really helps, and look after the rock it’s not indestructible.
What to Bring
Sleeping bag and an extra pillow if you want to be super cosy.
Climbing gear: harness and climbing shoes are a must; helmet (can be borrowed if you don’t have one); and any other gear you have (ropes, trad rack, etc).
Wet weather gear
Sunny weather gear: sun screen, hat, sunglasses, because you never know!
Food
As always, dinner will be provided on the Saturday night, as will porridge, there is usually bread for toasting too. Friday night dinner is your choice, although I suspect many of us will be eating en-route.
Please bring enough food for lunch each day (there are also shops a short drive away).
We hope you have a good time
