When
Sunday 13th September. Unfortunately the Southern Sandstone meet planned for this weekend has been cancelled due to unsuitable conditions, lets go to Portland instead!
This meet is planned for the Sunday, but I know a few members might wish to climb on the Saturday too. Feel free to use the Discord channel to make plans, there are plenty of campsites and hostels in the area if you with to stay the night.
The weather is looking good, however it is September and starting to get cooler, remember to bring suitable clothing.
Suitability
Summary: Open to all
This meet is suitable for everyone, including those who haven’t climbed outside before and it’s a great location for your first outdoor experience. There will be club members there who can help put up top ropes for those who don’t yet fancy leading outdoors, so all are welcome.
Please use the Discord channel and/or the Facebook group to organise lifts to reduce the number of cars travelling. A link to the Discord server can be found on your membership page.
