ONE SPACE LEFT! If you want to come e-mail us ASAP!

Come and join us for our first SCC Christmas celebration in the heart of the Peak District, ALL WELCOME!

There will be much rejoicing, merriment and climbing – weather permitting, of course. Failing that, the Peaks is a beautiful location for walking and Sheffield is a stone’s throw away with its great selection of indoor climbing walls.
There will also be awards, prizes, games and perhaps even a visit from Father Christmas himself – so everyone be on your best behaviour until then!
Cost and Food
This meet costs £30 for two nights of merriment, and includes what promises to be a Christmas dinner to remember on the Saturday night; this will be cooked in the hut kitchen by willing volunteers so please feel free to muck in with the potato peeling mission! Vegetarians will be well catered for; please state your preference when signing up to this event. There are some excellent chefs in the club so I am sure you will not be disappointed! Please do bring your own lunch and food for Friday night (or eat en route).
The hut has an indoor toilet, shower and also bunk beds, but you will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. This will be a hut meet and as a result spaces are limited (we will do our best to squeeze you in, but the stacked sleeping arrangement is probably inadvisable after all that food)  so please book early to avoid disappointment.
It’s never too early to get excited about Christmas, especially when it involves a weekend away climbing with your SCC friends! Check back here over the coming weeks for additional details, or have a chat to one of the SCC committee members at the wall: Chris, Colette, Frank, Jo, Richard, Rob and Tim.
