Meet description:

First SCC meet of 2023, whoop!

Hedbury Quarry is a great venue to dust off the months of indoor climbing and get back outside (or even get outside for the first time)

It has a selection of grades below 5’s (down to two 2a’s), plus a bunch of interesting routes at higher grades.

Fairly well protected from the elements, however do bring some warm and waterproof clothing, along with boots for a muddy walk.

Leaving the Spyway carpark shortly after 10am or, if many of the registered attendees seem to be caught in traffic, a little bit later.

There are a few pubs nearby for when we lose daylight.

Available climbing:

Hedbury is mainly a sport climbing venue. There is trad available (tidal) on the cliffs below the quarry for those experienced and keen enough. This meet will be run as a sport meet.
Beginner-friendly, grades from 2a with more advanced routes available.
