During this 1 hour session you will learn how to safely clear the top anchors of bolted sport climbing routes. There will be discussions and practice with the full range of bolts that you might encounter whilst sport climbing, so please bring your harness (and if you have it: 1 x 120cm sling, 2 x carabiner, belay with HMS carabiner. If you don’t have these items they will provided for you).

Prerequisite skills: This session is suitable for anyone who feels they might be leading sport routes outside this year. Ideally you would have some previous experience with lead belaying, but this is not essential.

This course will be run by professional instructor Tim Miller.

There is no cost for this course, however you will need to pay for entry to Boulder Shack.
