We are very lucky that Luke has finished his MCI training as is now offering free training to SCC members during his consolidation phase. This is a great opportunity for two people to learn how to climb on multipitch routes. Those with previous trad climbing experience at single pitch crags will get the most out of this day course.

PREREQUISITES:

Must be able to tie in and lead belay
Climbing at grade 5+ indoors

Topics that will be covered:
Route selection, finding and guidebook information.
Trad climbing skills in a multipitch environment.
Building sound belays.
Rope management.
Possibly abseiling.

PLEASE NOTE: This training will take place during Lake District meet on 26th August 2023. You must be booked on the meet or one of the nearby campsites to be able to attend! See meet here to book!
