This course is for everyone! If you are new and wanting to get into trad, these are important skills to have. If you’ve been climbing for a while, you may need a refresher on the techniques outlined below.

What you’ll learn:

  • Problem avoidance techniques

  • Skill for abseiling safely
  • Abseiling past a knot
  • Ascending a rope
  • Escaping the system

Prerequisite Skills: Have seconded a trad climb, keen to learn more about trad climbing. Have ideally abseiled before.

Cost: £20 per person

This course will be led by professional instructor Tim Miller.
