Wye Valley – Sport and trad – signup open :)
Back for 2018 by popular request… well I remember someone requested it
Wye would you climb here? because the Wye valley offers both sport, and trad routes, truly something for everyone, even for the connoisseur of rusty pegs
Details here now…
Climbing
The Wye valley has a great selection of climbing across the grade range, offering sport and multi pitch trad, far more than we can begin to describe here, please have a search on UKC for the dirty details. The sport routes at Wyndcliff proved popular with SCC on the last trip.
The club has guide books available, please ask If you’d like to check them out
Accomodation
We are returning to Beeches farm campsite, pretty near lots of climbs. We have stayed there before a while back and were given a corner area of the campsite with fire pits.(you must only burn wood bought on the campsite)
It is a great place and has proper camp site facilities, shower and everything 😀
Plus, family friendly camping!
Pst, important: If we are rowdy they will bill us £50 so please keep the noise level respectful. Beeches Farm has a strict no-noise policy after 10pm.

Cost and booking info:
£8 per person, per night for adults and £4 for children. And you want to bring your crag dog, that’s £2 extra per night 🙂 Hikers and cyclists (without car) £6 per night
Unlike usual camping trips, we have had to secure our booking with a deposit; therefore please sign up and pay below as you would for a hut meet. If you intend to stay for just one night, please can you specify Friday or Saturday night in the comments box so we book the correct number of pitches.
If you have spare spaces in your tent, or are looking for a space please use the facebook event to get in touch with other members
Travel
as with other meets we will make a facebook event so members can co-ordinate lift sharing, organise a cycle chain gang or charter their aircraft, depending on their budget
